November marks the next phase in Hanley Wood’s progress as a leader in the sustainable design and construction market. We will host the 2013 Greenbuild International Conference and Expo in Philadelphia later this month – the first Greenbuild since we acquired the show and established a strategic partnership with the U.S. Green Building Council. But this year’s event also symbolizes the moment when the sustainable building movement itself begins to escalate… to globalize… and to go “next level.”
Greenbuild is an established, highly valued brand that embodies the mission of sustainable design and construction. It is one of the top events on the calendar for building product manufacturers, builders, architects, urban planners… anyone who gives a damn about the built environment of today and in the future. We at Hanley Wood will never lose sight of what has made Greenbuild special, but we will execute a powerful vision for growing the event and taking the experience and the message to other parts of the world.
Hanley Wood is a proven leader in globalizing events. Our World of Concrete show just held its inaugural event in India, and just this week we announced a partnership to host World of Concrete in Europe. Our convening power will help to drive success at these events, and we will adopt a similar, and equally powerful strategy for Greenbuild.
Twenty years of Greenbuild have led us to this moment, where sustainable building is becoming a mainstream philosophy.
